ExxonMobil, a part of American ExxonMobil Corporation with specialities in lubricants and petroleum, has launched its steel sector programme to provide lubrication excellence for customers in the mineral-rich state of Chhattisgarh.
The programme is a part of ExxonMbil’s global marketing programme that had been developed to offer complete package of lubricant solutions and services to the steel sector manufacturers in India. As a one-stop solution for all lubricant needs, the programme offers a comprehensive range of lubricating oils and greases supported by the technical know-how and application by experts.
“We are considering steel sector as a key market in the country and Chhattisgarh is one of the major centre,” Rupinder Paintal, General Manager of ExxonMobil Lubricants Private Limited, said here on Thursday. Besides offering highly advanced products, the company seeks to provide the Indian steel sector a seamless customer experience with a complete package of lubricants and services for better production efficiency and productivity, he added.
The Brand Advisor for Asia Pacific Mobil SHC, Shankar Kartik said that the company’s focus would be in the Indian market. The rapid growth of the Indian economy and the major infrastructure development are driving the market demand for iron and steel in the country, he added.
“New development in the steel industry present challenges to lubricant products,” Kartik said. He added that from continous steel casting, steel plate rolling, and steel plates rolling to cranes, products must deliver in harsh environments like high temperature, heavy workloads and pollution. “Mobil oils are designed to provide outstanding performance that exceeds industry expectations and ensure sustained reliability of equipment at peak performance under all environments,” he added.
