Visitors to Stand D50 at the Engineering Design Show will have the opportunity to view a range of super-precision ball bearings from The Barden Corporation UK.
The company, which serves a range of industry sectors, including aerospace and defence, dental and medical, vacuum pumps and critical industrial applications, will be sharing the stand with its parent company, Schaeffler, which is one of the Show's headline sponsors.
Barden will also be hosting a workshop on the second day of the Show on reliable long life bearing design for high speed and harsh environments.
Hosted by the company's business development manager Nick Dowding, the presentation will give attendees the opportunity to learn what is required for achieving near infinite bearing fatigue life; the basic bearing parameters that should be analysed and how to interpret these results; considerations when selecting bearings for high performance applications; and the types of software tools that are available for bearing life analysis.
Experts from Barden will be on hand throughout the exhibition to provide advice and guidance on bearing selection, or to discuss specific application issues. For more information or to arrange an appointment with the company, call +44 (0) 1752 725 531 or email caroline.evans@schaeffler.com.
