On 3rd July 2012 two negotiations with external opponents of two important development projects were held in ZKL Brno, a.s.. These projects are solved with the support of TIP programme of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.

The first project is “Research and development of design and technology of spherical roller bearings with brass cages” FR-TI2/240 within which 13 types of new bearings in design EW33MH NEW FORCE was released into production. During the negotiation there were presented results of calculation analyzes using FEM (Final Element Method), which were realized within the development of the bearings.

The second project is “Research and development of grinding technology of bearings parts with puncture and rotated way“ FR-TI2/298. Under this project progressive grinding of fronts of bearing rings on grinder Saturn is being introduced in ZKL Brno, a.s.. Achievement of technical and economic benefits of the project solution were supported with very positive results in measuring of stress in the surface layer which point to even but mainly minimal heat influence of hardened part by such grinding.
