King Engine Bearings Introduces New eCat

King Engine Bearings has unveiled its new electronic catalog to the automotive aftermarket. The new eCat, which features an improved user-friendly design and expanded functionality, is available at www.king-bearings.com/cat.

The new e-Cat includes three basic search functions. Users can search by engine/brand, by dimensions (housing diameter, length and thickness) and by part number (King or interchange). A quick search field has been added to the top of every page and the entire catalog is compatible will all major browsers, the company says. The company also added search filtering capabilities to narrow initial results.

"We are excited to launch our new electronic catalog that was strategically designed to match the King homepage and our branding initiatives," said Limor DePetro, director of sales and marketing, King Engine Bearings. "We encourage users to create an account so they can gain access to the full functionality of the catalog."

By creating an account, users can access additional information such as drawings and line art to help identify bearing grooves and tangs (lugs).

DePetro says King is continuously developing new features for its eCat and encourages users to check back often. She says future features to be added include a search by component (shell number), a search for similar items (sets containing similar shells) and access to live inventory information for direct customers.
