In FY2011 (ending March 2012), our business has grown to surpass 130 billion yen in consolidated sales with 140,000 customers in 50 countries. The MISUMI Group now employs about 5,600 people globally. As the number of employees has increased, we have run out of space in our head office and
Toyo Central Building office. As a result, we have decided to relocate our head offices. The relocation will enable us to consolidate head office functions, use office space more efficiently, enhance functionality and drive further operational efficiencies.
Please see below for details on the relocation.
1. New address
Sumitomo Realty & Development Iidabashi First Building
2-5-1, Koraku, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, JAPAN
2. Effective date of relocation
Late September 2012
3. Impact on business performance
Any impact on earnings performance resulting from relocation costs and other factors has already been factored into our FY2012 consolidated business performance forecast.
4. Other matters
Change to the head office address in the articles of incorporation: A proposition related to a change in the articles of incorporation will be put forth to the general meeting of shareholders to be held in June 2012. Pending approval, the change will be made.
