Kewill, a leading provider of solutions that simplify global trade and logistics, today announced it has signed a multi-year contract with NSK Europe Limited, one of the world's leading manufacturers of rolling bearings, linear motion products, automotive components and steering systems to deliver Kewill Export and Kewill CustomsXchange solutions across its European operations.
Under the terms of the agreement, Kewill will deploy its global customs management platform CustomsXchange together with Kewill Export, its global export documentation solution and B2B integration software, to enable simpler and more cost effective processing of export declarations and supporting documentation. The software will be fully integrated with NSK Europe’s back-office enterprise system, providing a multi-country corporate platform allowing customs information to be entered through a central single point of connectivity, with multiple customs authorities worldwide via a network of local country customs applications. The implementation will commence immediately, initially in the United Kingdom, Netherlands and Poland.
The solution will provide NSK Europe with the ability to file customs declarations electronically, in compliance with relevant local legislation. It will also generate and exchange all required export documentation for NSK Europe’s packing lists, letters of credit, order acknowledgements, dispatch advices, pro forma invoices and bank collection forms/bills of exchange.
