SKF South Africa's Automotive Division was the proud recipient of the 2nd Place Supplier of the Year 2011 Award from MAN Truck and Bus (SA) Central Parts Division - Service Parts Category.
SKF attended the awards ceremony which was held on 23rd March 2012 at Emperors Palace.
There were three Supplier Award categories, with SKF falling into the 'Service Parts from a local OEM Supplier' category, where the company achieved second place.
The award was based not only on a 100% supply rate from suppliers, but also the quality of customer service provided, the ease of doing business, and the manner in which the supplier handled the customer relationship. SKF's Automotive Division excelled in all these aspects and is very pleased to receive this award.
Gary Czapski, SKF's Automotive Division Manager, states "SKF is proud to be associated with a world renowned company such as MAN Truck and Bus, and this award fortifies our belief that good quality customer service, in association with superior quality products, lead to the recognition of SKF's outstanding performance with customers."
