Mr. Kusnier has more than 35 years of expertise in the rolling element bearing industry, and is an alumnus of the Michigan Technological University in Houghton, MI, where he received his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and an Associates Degree in Applied Science in Electrical Engineering.
A registered professional engineer, Mr. Kusnier has dedicated his entire engineering career to the bearing industry. His skills include bearing design, application engineering, manufacturing, training programs and sourcing for large bearing applications. In recent years, he has focused on the steel industry, and also has experience in mining, paper making, aggregates and many other heavy industrial applications.
His accomplishments in large slewing bearing design, coupled with his experience in establishing field service and bearing reliability maintenance programs for customers in heavy industry, make Mr. Kusnier perfectly suited for his new role for Messinger Bearings as Senior Technical Specialist – Heavy Industry. His talents are a fitting complement to Messinger Bearings, now in its 100th year of operation and known for its ongoing commitment to providing advanced custom bearing solutions for the most demanding applications in heavy industry.
