SKF Condition Monitoring Range to be Showcased at MAINTEC 2012

SKF Microlog Analyzer AX

SKF Microlog Advisor Pro

January 20, 2012—

SKF, the knowledge engineering company, will demonstrate its total approach to condition monitoring by presenting a powerful range of products and systems at MAINTEC 2012, which takes place at the NEC, Birmingham from 28 February to 1 March. The equipment on display will include SKF Microlog data collectors and analyzers, plus the SKF Machine Condition Advisor; showcasing an integrated product range that can enable effective, cost-saving condition monitoring across the engineering industries.

MAINTEC attendees will be able to discover first-hand how SKF Microlog analyzers collect, examine, use and share machine condition data, and how these tools enable engineers to optimise equipment and minimise downtime costs by performing predictive maintenance on rotating machinery. SKF Microlog analyzers not only offer on-the-spot advice but also work with powerful SKF predictive maintenance software systems, such as the SKF Microlog Inspector application, for the efficient recording of inspection data.

SKF Microlog Inspector can be installed on a variety of Windows Mobile portable computers and is capable of transferring data over LAN, Wi-Fi and even cellular data networks (3G/GPRS). The application can enable the effective management of an Operator Driven Reliability (ODR) programme, since it can prompt corrective action when conditions move beyond established parameters and thus prevent the development of more serious problems.

Also on view will be the SKF Machine Condition Advisor, a convenient, robust, hand-held device that can detect wear or defects in commonly used machinery such as pumps, fans and motors by measuring vibration and temperature levels, and providing users with an early warning of potential problems.

SKF condition monitoring tools are ideal for use by companies who provide ongoing maintenance services to the engineering industry, such as ERIKS, who will also be demonstrating their many capabilities at MAINTEC 2012.

Visitors to MAINTEC 2012 will find both SKF and ERIKS at Stand A6.
