Prospect, IL, October 21, 2011 - NTN Bearing Corporation of America (NBCA) is pleased to announce the promotion of Pete Eich to Executive Officer of NTN Corporation (Osaka, Japan) and Deputy General Director of the Americas Region. Mr. Eich will also retain the title of President, NTN Bearing Corporation of America. In his new role, he will oversee NTN's sales operations for the entire Americas region, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Central America. In addition, he has been appointed to the level of Executive Officer, the first American to attain that level.
Mr. Eich brings with him experience managing NTN's US sales operations through periods of both tremendous sales growth and the recent recession. A 30-year veteran of NTN, Pete began his career at NTN as an Applications Engineer. Mr. Eich has had roles of increasing responsibility including Vice President of Industrial Engineering and Vice President of Industrial OEM Sales before promotion to President of NTN Bearing Corporation of America in 2006. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
