This year is second time since 2010, SKF sent Indonesia Team to participate in Gothia Cup - a World Youngest Soccer Competition in Gothenburg-Swedia, July 16th - 23th, 2011.
The team as a delegate Indonesia is APACINTI ASIOP reinforced by several additional players from several Soccer School or Football Club that have participated on Kompas Gramedia League U-14 "Meet The World 2011"
ASIOP APACINTI is the 1st winner on that Kompas Gramedia League U-14 were held on Ciracas Football Stadion, East Jakarta for 15 weeks. SKF Social Responsibility Project "Meet The World" for this year has cooperated with Kompas Gramedia to get a Best Indonesia Team for fighting on Gothia Cup 2011 Competition. The winner will get a free accommodation goes to Gothenburg from SKF Indonesia and Skefindo Primatama .
Since the training until the departure day on July 16th, 2011, they have not believed yet that they will fight a lot of team from 73 Countries. "I felt like a dream, I could go outside of Indonesia and play football with other countries", said Dicky Rhomadona.
"Amidst the collapsed condition of the Indonesian football, they feel this is a tremendous boon because they can compete in world football championship".
The result was so amazing. The Young Garuda can defeat their opponents easily in the field who are mostly made of synthetic grass. On qualifying group 13th in the morning before Opening Ceremony, Young Garuda defeated 3 Sweden Team : Onsala BK 4-0, then defeated Mjolby Sodra 3-0, and got score 11-0 when defeated Mareheim SK.
Then, ASIOP went to play off A meet TSV Fortuna from Hannover, Germany and ASIOP defeated them 4-0. Then ASIOP defeated Arameisk-Syrianska 11-0. The Young Garuda got a party goal!.
Next opponents was Lobatos Foot from Portugal. ASIOP has dominated the compettion, but Young Garuda could not made a goal, until the end of competition score was 0-0.Finnaly Lobatos win 6-5 on penalty drama. Dicky Romadhona was failed on their sudden death goal.
A referee from Swedden said that ASIOP play like World Best Team, Barcelona, short passes are overlaid with a penetration sensation of individual players, many were surprised to see their amazing ability. , a coach from Singapore said Indonesia should meet Chivas Guadalajara of Mexico in the Final who has defeat ASIOP Lobatos, Portugal with score 4-0.
