A dozen Brammer staff from across the UK, supported by family and friends, made the long trek up Mount Snowdon to raise funds for Make-a-Wish ® Foundation UK.
Organised by Tom Shoobridge, regional Insite support and Hannah Hopper of the Internal Sales team at Grimsby Sales & Service Centre, the team took around seven hours to scale the 3,560 ft peak and find their way down again. Their efforts are set to raise in excess of £1,500 for the charity which grants magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening illnesses.
Hannah commented: “It was a great team effort, bringing together colleagues from across the UK who are all now keen to tackle something similar next year. Even the weather was kind apart from a heavy shower as soon as we reached the peak, which fortunately did nothing to dampen everyone’s enthusiasm.”
The team would like to extend their thanks to Coca-Cola for their donation of bottled and canned drinks, and to Wallace Cameron for supplying first aid kits.
