SDP/SI - Timing Belt Pulleys are Suited for Miniature Applications

New Hyde Park, NY -- Stock Drive Products (ISO 9001 Registered Manufacturer) announces a new series of 1 mm pitch polyurethane timing belts, designed for miniature applications and to run with the new 1 mm pitch timing belt pulleys. Offered with Kevlar® cord reinforcement, the A 6B18M...Series are stocked in 22 different groove sizes ranging from 94 mm to 559 mm (3.701" to 22.008") while theA 6G18M...Series with fiberglass cord reinforcement are stocked in pitch lengths from 142 mm to 705 mm (5.591" to 27.756"). These unique belts come standard in 3 mm and 6 mm widths; however, special widths can be cut from sleeves, also available in stock.

The Kevlar® belts (double span) have a breaking point of 300 N per 1 mm (214 lbf. per 1/8 in.) and the fiberglass belts, also double span, have a breaking point of 165 N per 1 mm (117 lbf. per 1/8 in.). Both have a temperature range of -30°C to +85°C (-22°F to +185°F). Since these timing belts are the smallest standardized pitch timing belts available they are ideal for important prototype or production applications that require high-quality, miniature parts.
