Chatsworth, CA –March 29, 2011 - NMB Technologies Corporation, a Minebea Group Company, introduces a new series of DC axial cooling fans that offer a variety of custom features, including IP54 oil and water resistant, fan performance sensor and thermal control.
The VL Series is available in dimensions of 40X20mm, 92X25mm, 120X38mm, and 150X172X50mm, in 12, 24 and 48 VDC. Standard features include auto restart, reverse polarity protection, low noise and high flow, as well as NMB dual ball bearings. Custom features offer this new NMB cooling fan series with an encapsulated motor designed for harsh environment applications IP54 rated. Other custom features include locked rotor output, open collector tach output, PWM, and soft start inrush current.
This new series has been designed with a new casing and impeller offering improved airflow, a single phase motor technology for low power consumption and a larger motor than some of NMB’s other models.
The VL Standard Series is currently available from our authorized distribution partners, as well as direct for OEM sales. Custom IP54 fans are available at lead time.
