On March 10, Boca Bearings sponsored Mikey Bustamante participated in the Vegas R/C Raceway to race his new TLR 22 Buggy. The qual went pretty well considering it was the first time the car was on the track and Mikey's times picked up every lap. He qualified 4th in the 2wd Mod Buggy. Mikey had a decent start and was in a train for second, during the race he fell back to third but he was gaining on the leader fast, with a few minutes to go Bustamante moved up to second and put a pass on the leader, the next corner he went wide and got passed again. Mikey continued to closely follow the leader of the race until he cased a triple and flipped over. When time expired he finished about five seconds back in second place. Mikey was really impressed with his new TLR 22 Buggy. Today he tried his luck in another indoor race track 702 RC Raceway, also in Vegas. Mikey ran 2wd Mod ShortCourse and 2wd Mod Buggy. In 2wd Mod Buggy he just drove a smooth race and brought home the win. Congratualtions to Mikey on the great weekend!
