AACHEN, Germany, Feb. 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Cerobear GmbH, the renowned manufacturer of high quality ceramic and hybrid bearings used in aerospace, motorsports and extreme industrial applications – recently achieved 20 years of advanced bearing production in the chemical sector.
The company's 20 year milestone of ceramic and hybrid bearing production, for chemical processing plants worldwide, has been announced by Cerobear's Vice President of Sales, Christian Klatt.
"We are very proud to mark 20 years of continuous service to the chemical industry," Klatt said. "Our chemical customers require that we deliver reliable hybrid bearings with longer operating cycles, lower costs of ownership and proactive technical support – and Cerobear has worked to meet and exceed these challenges since the early 1990s."
The company's proprietary manufacturing, materials expertise, high quality products and intense focus on long-term bearing reliability, have earned Cerobear a reputation for uncompromising excellence.
Cerobear's advanced ceramic and hybrid bearings are available in ball and roller types. These bearings are sought by engineers throughout the chemical industry because they perform seamlessly and continuously – with little or no lubrication – in the most demanding and adverse operating conditions.
"For extreme chemical bearing applications such as LDPE and EVA autoclave reactors, we can offer a service life of approximately five to six times the service life of conventional bearings," Klatt added. "This is the result of Cerobear's total commitment to improving bearing reliability, offering advanced bearing designs and our superb production quality with the proactive guidance of our bearing engineers."
In conjunction with Cerobear's 20 years in the chemical industry, the company recently launched a "Cooperation Program" for chemical industry professionals. The objective of this new program is to offer chemical reliability engineers insight and expertise on advanced hybrid bearings for their specific bearing requirements – and to provide direct access to Cerobear Engineers in Germany.
Founded in 1990 and operated as a privately-owned company, Cerobear is a recognized world leader in the design and manufacturing of advanced ceramic and hybrid bearings for the most extreme bearing applications and operations.
