Heason's range of precision positioning components now includes the 400-Series ball profile linear guide bearing system, which targets cost-sensitive applications across industrial automation.
This includes pick and place, materials handling, packaging equipment and transport technology, The linear-motion guide is a drop-in replacement for competitive brands with industry-standard fixing dimensions and a symmetrical 45deg rail profile for equal load-carrying capacity in all directions and improved tolerance for mounting surface inaccuracies.
The range covers six nominal rail widths from 15 to 45mm in stock lengths of 4,000mm and a choice of carriage styles, including narrow and extra-long variants to match application requirements.
With individual carriage load capacity between 9 and 130kN, and a choice of two accuracy and two preload grades for precision and load matching, notable features for the 400-series include a polymer lined ball-return tube that reduces noise and vibration, and individual ball-track lubricant channels that maximise lubrication effectiveness.
The range also benefits from a selection of options and accessories to optimise the performance and costs of the installed bearing system.
These include a carriage with caged ball-spacing retainer option for increased running smoothness and lower noise at high speeds, as well as a standard non-caged version for general purpose use.
While the standard build specification for all carriages include double lip end and longitudinal seals that retain lubrication while protecting the bearing from contamination, additional rubber wipers and metal scrapers are available for increased durability in harsh environmental conditions.
