Engis is offering customers in the UK the latest technology in resin-bonded diamond and CBN grinding wheels, up to 1,100mm diameter.
The technology is specifically designed to provide maximum productivity in the grinding of bearings, and for large-scale grinding applications in the aerospace and automobile sectors.
The technical specification of these double-sided Vitrified and resin-bonded wheels has been developed determine the optimal combination of materials for a particular application, with the most appropriate manufacturing temperatures and times, to provide the highest grinding wheel consistency.
This is a key factor in grinding wheel productivity, whether for grinding exotic materials for aerospace or the most advanced cast-iron specifications for automotive tasks.
Engis also supplies carriers for these large, bespoke grinding wheels, which can be manufactured to fit on any OEM grinding machine, as well as a range of other grinding products, including vitrified pellet wheels up to 1,200mm in diameter and surface, internal, creep-feed and centreless wheels.
