PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Royal Bearing, Inc., a worldwide dealer in bearings for industrial and transportation applications of all types, has completed construction of a new 30,000-square-foot building on Sandy Blvd. in Northeast Portland, just minutes from Portland International Airport, and has relocated its corporate headquarters to the site. The company has also leased additional space on Airport Way in Portland for added warehousing capacity.
The new warehouse is equipped with the latest technologies for inventory management and shipping efficiency, including a new inventory program that will improve order processing speed and accuracy.
“Due to the recent purchase of an entire plant facility and its inventory, and because of the large purchases of major brands of bearings we’ve made this year, we had simply outgrown our building on Airport Way,” said Clarence Hopkins, President of Royal Bearing. “This expansion was necessary to keep up with business demands, and to continue to position ourselves as a leading bearing supplier.”
