F A G Bearings India reported a phenomenal rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended March 2010. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 61.42% to Rs 224.70 million from Rs 139.20 million in the same quarter last year.

Net sales for the quarter for the quarter rose 29.17% to Rs 2,359.30 million, while total income for the quarter rose 29.95% to Rs 2,388.20 million, when compared with the prior year period.

It posted earnings of Rs 13.52 a share during the quarter, registering 61.34% growth over prior year period.
