A manufacturing company in Troy, N.Y., will receive more than $400,000 from the state to help buy new machines and add 26 jobs.
The state said Wednesday that it will give $406,000 to Pacamor Kubar Bearings, located in the Rensselaer Technology Park. The funds will assist in buying $700,000 of new machines, offset capital expenses and add 26 jobs.
Pacamor, a privately held firm, produces miniature ball bearings, with many clients in the defense and aerospace industries. The state money will go to the Rensselaer County government, which will then distribute the cash to Pacamor.
A call to Edward Osta, the firm’s executive vice president, was not returned.
