Pakistan police on Sunday seized 10 kg of explosive fitted with 400 balls bearings from a car on PAF road and arrested two persons.

According to a press release, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Suburb, Tariq Sohail and SHO Bana Mari, Atiq Shah, along with Police party had set up a 'nakabandi' at PAF Road when a white Suzuki approached them from Bara Tribal Agency. The car was signaled to stop but the driver tried to flee.
Due to timely action of the Police party, the vehicle was stopped and its two occupants were overpowered.

Detailed inspection of the car revealed that it contained 10kg of explosive fitted with 400 balls bearings. The triggering mechanism was remote-controlled through the use of a cell phone. Both persons have been arrested and further investigation is underway to determine the target of terrorist action as well as their accomplices.
