The board of directors of The Timken Company (NYSE: TKR) today declared a quarterly cash dividend of 17 cents per share.

The dividend is payable on June 3, 2008, to shareholders of record as of May 16, 2008. It will be the 344th consecutive dividend paid on the common stock of the company.
