GGB, formerly Glacier Garlock Bearings, has launched an online store (www.ggbstore.com), offering more than 3,000 different part numbers for its standard metal-polymer and filament-wound plain bearings. Initially it will be available only to U.S. customers with additional countries planned over the next several months.
The new site allows visitors to search by SKU, bearing type (cylindrical, flanged, thrust washers and tube) and metric or inch dimensions, including inside diameters, outside diameters and lengths. Metal-polymer offerings include DP4™, DU® and DX®; fiber-reinforced plastic composite offerings include GAR-FIL®, GAR-MAX®, High-Strength GAR-MAX®, MEGALIFE® XT and MLG™.
First-time visitors must register to establish an account, after which they may begin purchasing immediately, using VISA, MasterCard or American Express. For more information, e-mail usa@ggbearings.com.
