BSA 2008 Convention Attendees Will Hear from “Dollarization” Expert
Attendees at the Bearing Specialists Association (BSA) 2008 Annual Convention April 26-29 at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort, Tucson, Arizona, will consider the potential of “dollarization” on the global bearing industry when Jeffrey J. Fox addresses the association. Fox introduced the concept of dollarization in How to Become a Rainmaker and How to Become a Marketing Superstar.
Fox believes that every day good companies suffer because they create financial value for their customers but aren’t able to keep their fair share. Dollarization calculates the monetary gain a customer receives in exchange for the price paid. Fox points out that the theory is applicable globally, to the yen, euro, and other currencies. Named “Outstanding Marketer” by Sales & Marketing Management magazine and the National Industrial Distribution Association, Fox is the author of a number of best-selling books, including How to Become CEO, The Dollarization Discipline, and, most recently, How to Get to the Top: Business Lessons Learned at the Dinner Table.
