SKF and ArcelorMittal Sign Long Term Partnership Agreement
SKF have signed a long-term contract (2007-2010) with ArcelorMittal as one of the preferred partners for bearings and related products for ArcelorMittal operations in Europe. After first implementation phase in Europe, the contract is planned to be expanded globally.
During this period, ArcelorMittal and SKF will implement products and solutions with focus on continuous improvement in order to reduce the significant cost for steel production. SKF will use the Documented Solution Program (DSP) to document the savings and cascade the concept to different ArcelorMittal sites.
