Kaydon Chief Doesn't Kid About Buying
KAYDON'S NEW CHIEF HAS BOUGHT $400,000 worth of shares in his company, as the bearings maker's stock is on a roll.
President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman James O'Leary bought 8,300 shares at an average price of $48.05 each on June 5, according to a Form 4 filed today with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
O'Leary, 44, a Kaydon director since March 2005, now owns 120,300 shares of Kaydon stock, far less than 1% of the company's outstanding shares. Most of his existing stake prior to Tuesday's purchase was subject to restrictions.
