Federal-Mogul Names Powertrain Bearings Head
Federal-Mogul Corp. announced a Powertrain restructuring and three high-level executive appointments: Rainier Jueckstock, Rene Dalleur, and Gerard Chochoy.
Mr. Chochoy has been named Senior Vice President, Powertrain Bearings and Seals; he reports directly to F-M's Chairman, President, and CEO, Jose Maria Alapont.
Uncharacteristically for a U.S. auto supplier, all three promotions are from European operations and backgrounds.
And Mr. Chochoy's promotion at F-M came quickly. He joined the company only last month as Senior Vice President, Global Development. Prior to that, he was Executive VP in charge of the automotive seating division at French auto industry supplier Faurecia.
Mr. Alapont said: "The global automotive expertise and business leadership of Rainier, Gerard and Rene will fully support this new structure and reinforce our drive for leading technology and innovation, world-class customer satisfaction and sustainable global profitable growth."
