Closing on October 28, EuroBLECH 2006, 19th International Sheet Metal Working Technology Exhibition, attracted a record high number of 64,353 trade visitors, according to organizer Mack Brooks Exhibitions Ltd.
A 25% increase in foreign visitors was seen. While the number of visitors from all over Europe, and particularly from Eastern Europe, grew substantially, the number of visitors from Asia also doubled compared with the figure of the previous edition held in 2004.
The scale of this year's EuroBLECH also broke the record, reaching 76,000 square meters net in seven halls, the organizer said.
Exhibitors amounted to 1,409, and they were from 40 countries and regions, more than ever before. They presented all aspects of sheet metal manufacturing and working.
The next edition of the exhibition, EuroBLECH 2008, will be held from October 21 to 25 in Hanover, Germany.
