Ball Bearings Suit Small Diameter Shafts

New MRC® "R Series" small inch-size ball bearings can serve as premium-quality "miniature" solutions to fit the smallest shaft diameters. Their availability in stainless broadens potential applications for these bearings by providing the capability to resist corrosion typically encountered in demanding or harsh operating environments.

The design of these single-row deep-groove radial conrad-type bearings contributes to their capability to carry significant radial loads and substantial thrust loads in either direction, even at very high speeds. Unique design features include uninterrupted raceway grooves and optimized conformity between balls and raceways to accommodate very high thrust loads.

Bore sizes range from 1/8 in. to 1 1/2 in. and open, shielded, and sealed bearing types are available. Basic radial dynamic load ratings range from 70 lbf to 3780 lbf and basic radial static load ratings range from 27 lbf to 2650 lbf, depending on type.
"R-Series" small-inch size ball bearings are supplied with pressed steel cages as standard. Two-piece riveted machined phenolic or bronze cages can be specified to satisfy particular application requirements.

Made-to-Order (MTO) warranted products can be developed through MRC's dedicated MTO program. CAD drawings of standard products are available for downloading free from
