INA FAG will be exhibiting its X-Life four-row ball monorail guidance systems at machine building and Automation 2006. The range comprises the Kuve B heavy-duty full complement system and the Kuve BKT low-noise variant. The firm will also show its Rue E-L roller monorail guidance system as part of the X-Life portfolio.
This is for use in large, high performance machine tools, presses and other machining systems.
Many machine tool makers are opting for direct drives for rotating axes, which has caused problems for bearing manufacturers.
Thus INA FAG developed thermally stable YRT rotary table bearings, which will be on show at the exhibition, as will the firm's track rollers, plain bearings and spindle support bearings.
Also available are condition monitoring tools and techniques.
To help its customers make maintenance programmes more effective, the firm provides independent diagnostic, monitoring and maintenance advice for many bearing applications.
This service includes consultations, ongoing vibration monitoring, maintenance management, assembly and repair of roller bearings, and general maintenance.
There is access to training programmes in vibration monitoring and roller bearing assembly.
Visitors to the stand will find out more about the company's INA Drives and Mechatronics programme of motor, direct drive and control technology for machine tools, special machine design and construction and automation technology.
