Along with its high wear resistance and low moisture consumption, users may combine it with soft shaft materials.

All Igus plain bearings are 100% maintenance and lubrication-free to prevent the tobacco and packaging from becoming soiled.

Polymer plain bearings are also insensitive to dirt and dust and offer abrasion resistance, even under high loads.

The firm also provides energy chains to guide cables safely in tobacco industry applications.
