Standard bearing products go online

Pacamor Kubar Bearings (PKB), a US manufacturer of miniature and instrument ball bearings, has gone online with a new website which includes a searchable catalogue of all standard bearing products manufactured at the New York factory.

The online catalogue can be searched by any of the bearings' dimensional attributes.

The search can be expanded or restricted by the number of attributes defined in the search.

'PKB is always looking for ways to improve our customers' experience', stated Augustine Sperrazza, CEO.

'The new website is just one of the ways that we can add value for our customers and continue to excel at customer service in the bearing industry'.

Website visitors can read about bearing technology, review industry trends and study a number of miniature and instrument ball bearing applications on the new website.

The technical information section provides comprehensive information about everything from choosing the proper radial play to shaft fits and bearing loads.

Bearing ABEC tolerances are defined and lubrication recommendations are offered.

There is a basic cross-reference guide to aid the searcher who has an alternate manufacturer's part number and is seeking a PKB replacement.
If all this seems like too much information, there are multiple links for the visitor to send an email to the factory for technical assistance.

'The new www.pacamor.com is far more comprehensive than the original website'.

'Today's customers require technical information at their fingertips'.
'With people wearing multiple hats, it is our aim to make our customers' experience efficient and effective', stated Nancy Cogliandro, Marketing Director.

Andrea Sperrazza, National Sales Manager, stated: 'The new website will enable engineers to research bearing options and design the best product for their applications'.

'We always welcome calls and e-mails to help our customers in the design process or with any customer service assistance'.
