According to Mr. Wang liming, the vice chairman of China Machine Tools Industrial Association, the demand of machine tools in China has increased dramatically in recent years and China has been the No.1 on its machine tools import for the last three years. In 2004, the consuming value of machine tools in China had hit $9.46 billion which broke the record made by United States. In 2005, this figure will up to over $10 billion .

As a result of the dramatic expansion of China's machine tools market, more and more world famous machine tools manufacturers pay attention to this market. In the oncoming 2005 China International Machine Tools Fair, thousands of manufacturers from 26 different countries will attend.

China International Machine Tools Fair which is regarded as one of the 4 largest machine tools fairs aroud the world, is held every two years. Predictively, the all together 16 halls of China Internation Exhibition Center will be used during this 2005 Fair. About 72 thousand square meters' exhibition area will be available for this Fair.
