Very few training centres in the field of rolling bearings can cite the TÜV certificate as proof of outstanding quality. These few now include the joint Technical Training Centre of INA-Schaeffler KG and FAG Kugelfischer AG in Hirschaid, following assessment by TÜV Management Service. The certificate to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 creates a good basis for providing technical training at INA and FAG in future that is of a uniformly high standard worldwide.
The INA/FAG Technical Training Centre provides training on products and principles as well as application engineering workshops for sales partners and INA/FAG employees. It also prepares documents for worldwide training courses, which are made available using a wide variety of modern media.
High quality in training makes a decisive contribution to success. The advisory process is therefore a continuous element of the training content. The tasks to be mastered by the course participants therefore include correct compilation of the design brief, the calculation of bearing loads and bearing calculations, the preparation of an installation proposal, working with the electronic product catalogue medias® and the preparation of a technical proposal to be presented to the customer.
At the INA/FAG Technical Training Centre, quality has been the most important criterion since the very beginning. "Only well trained technical personnel with expertise in methodology and processes can advise customers effectively and with the appropriate level of qualification. In order to meet these requirements, we have developed a new and modern process-oriented training concept", says Horst-Dietmar Köhler, Head of the INA/FAG Technical Training Centre. Training in which pure technical knowledge is communicated by a teacher standing in front of pupils, is a thing of the past
