Kim Dotcom plans New Zealand political party

Megaupload founder Kim Dotcom, on Monday announced that he would launch a political party in New Zealand to compete for next year 's elections , draw a contemptuous response to Prime Minister John Key .
Dotcom, said his plan is still embryonic , but as yet unnamed party will launch on January 20 , armed police raided his mansion in Auckland , led to him being accused of online piracy on the second anniversary .
" Wow ! I get a lot of encouraging news , my plan , a new political party , thank you , " 39 -year-old tweeted .
Internet giant revealed some details of his platform , saying only that he wanted to improve New Zealand's IT infrastructure, including " fair tariffs and no more data limit ."
"The party 's website with our vision and candidate information will be January 20, 2014 launch of another big event a second RAID anniversary ," he said on Twitter .

Dotcom has denied any wrongdoing , and free on bail as he fights extradition to the U.S. , has also taken on the key card , he accused them of pursuing the case against him , bow to the pressure of Hollywood .

But he told technology website torrentfreak.com , his nationality does not prevent him from launching a political party in New Zealand , and became its president .
"Need someone to lead New Zealand in the future, " he said. "Unfortunately , the current government does not know what the future looks like ."
Dotcom has become a celebrity in New Zealand , in his legal battle . He was a Reader's Digest New Zealand's 100 most trusted people in the June announcement No. 98 on the list . The key is ranked No. 80 .
