U.S. officials accused the Uzbek citizen knowledge of bomb-making and other support for in Idaho an Islamic militant group, know that it will be used in the attack, authorities said on Thursday.
Fazliddin Kurbanov 30, Uzbekistan legally residing in Idaho, Boise and arrested faces three counts of grand jury indictment in Idaho and single-count indictment in Utah prosecutors said.
They say Kurbanov Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan, which the United States designated as a foreign terrorist organization to provide information and money. The Group supported in Uzbekistan to establish a strict Islamic rule.
Authorities say, the Kurbanov activities, closely monitored and any potential threat has been controlled.
The indictment alleges that, the Kurbanov once provide support and resource group since August 2012, he knew it could be used to prepare and use weapons of mass destruction to attack. He could face 15 years in prison for the two charges.
Kurbanov also charged with possession of a hand grenade fuse and aluminum powder, potassium nitrate and sulfur, can be used to create an improvised bomb. The charge calls up to 10 years in prison.
In Utah, prosecutors said, to Kurbanov, Internet video, details in writing to the teaching of the shopping trip, where to find components as well as how to make bombs.
The Kurbanov public transport system intended for use in training, infrastructure or other buildings in the teachings of the explosion, prosecutors said. He faces 20 years in prison, if convicted, Utah is responsible.
Kurbanov scheduled to appear in federal court on Friday in Boise, prosecutors said, and added that he will be transferred to the Utah, Idaho after the end of the prosecution.
