Nine common cause of failure of Bearings

Bearing failure during operation is often the case, so no big deal. A fault occurs; it is determined and processed is critical. Today we explain FAG Bearings common failure reason.
1. The bearing temperature is too high: the operation of the institutions, the installation of the bearing parts are allowed a certain temperature is normal, should not feel hot when stroking institutions housing, otherwise the bearing temperature.

Bearing noise: Rolling work allows minor operation sound, if the noise is too large or unusual noise or crash, it indicates that the bearing failure.
 
Rolling noise reasons: relatively complex, 1) is within the bearing outer ring mating surface wear. This kind of wear and tear, with the relationship of the destruction of the bearings and housings, bearings and shaft axis deviation from the correct position to produce abnormal noise in high-speed movement in the shaft. When bearing fatigue, surface metal flaking; also cause bearing radial clearance increased abnormal sound. 2) Insufficient bearing lubrication, the formation of dry friction, and bearing broken will produce an unusual sound. 3) Bearing becomes flexible after holder loosening damaged, will produce abnormal noise bearing damage. 3. 5. Plastic deformation: bearing raceway and roller contact surface appears uneven pits the bearing plastically deformed. The reason is that the bearings in large static loads or impact loads, the working surface of the local stress exceeds the yield limit of the material, which generally occurs in the low-speed rotation of the bearing.
 
Bearing race cracks: bearing race cracks may be bearing with tight, loose bearing foreign or inner ring bearing inclusive deformation, poor installation of the bearing surface processing.
 
7. Holder fragmentations: The reason is insufficient lubrication, rolling body broken, such as seat skew.
 
8. The holder metal adhered on the rolling body, and the likely reason is that the rolling body is stuck within the holder or insufficient lubrication.
 
9. Seat raceway severe wear: Block circle may fall into foreign body, lubricating oil or lubricating oil grades inappropriate.
