Serbia rejects Kosovo deal, begs EU for more time

Serbia rejected a plan brokered by the European Union on Monday to address its former province of Kosovo ethnic partition, a move that could hurt Belgrade hopes start accession negotiations with the EU.
But the coalition government called for continued negotiations to reach an agreement with the EU "emergency" is set to consider this month whether to recommend the opening of accession negotiations with Serbia.
