South Korean stocks edged higher, day (Tuesday) after the dow - Jones industrial average 30 kinds of prices rose to a record U.S. economic prospects are optimistic.
Auto stocks recovered some ground, due to the weak yen, pressure its export competitiveness. Hyundai Motor (Hyundai Motor) edged up 0.2%, kia motors rose 0.6%.
South Korea's KOSPI index (KOSPI) rose 0.06%, to 2004.56 in. (0007 GMT).
