BEIJING, Sept. 5, according to foreign reports, a U.S. study suggests, pesticides and antibiotic-resistant bacteria content contained in organic produce and meat will be relatively low, but usually not any better than the vitamins and nutrientsconventional food better.
Brisbane Grenoble (Crystal Smith-Spangler), the person in charge of the research team, said: "People choose to buy organic food for many different reasons and one reason is that the health benefits."
"Our patients, our family will ask 'nutrients or to human health, the reason to choose organic food?'"
She and her colleagues reviewed more than 200 studies on organic food.
These foods include organic and inorganic fruits, vegetables, grains, meat, poultry, eggs and milk.
Brisbane Grenoble and her colleagues found, either organic or conventional plant and animal products, vitamin content is no different, the the nutrients only difference is slightly more phosphorus content in the organic products.
Organic milk and chicken may also contain more omega-3 fatty acids, but this is only based on a few studies have concluded.
