Dow Jones reported that the U.S. Commerce Department on Tuesday (July 31) in the domestic steel trough is initially set countervailing duty rate plan 2.12% -13.94% of the levy retaliatory tariffs on Chinese steel trough.
 
Addition, the U.S. will also investigate Chinese exports to the U.S. steel tanks with the existence of dumping.
 
U.S. Commerce Department is expected to make a final decision later this year on this. However, only the U.S. International Trade Commission ruled that imports from China steel tanks did U.S. manufacturers suffered huge losses after the countervailing duty order to come into effect.
