Brazilian iron ore exports in June to 23.6 million tons, compared to the previous month decreased by 26%.
 
Domestic sales fell 26 percent to 200 million tons over the same period last year 16% decline in May.
 
Total shipments in the first half of the country reached 14.9 million tons, down 9.4 percent compared to 2011, but the total export volume last year was essentially flat at 100 million to 36 million tons.
 
The mining giant CVRD and its joint venture Sa Make June exports grew by 5-6%, respectively, to reach 21.2 million tons and 16 million tons. Anglo American in June overseas sales over the same period last year dropped 1.3 percent, dropping to 410,000 tons.
