Economic data released in Japan July 9 reflect the corporate capital spending in Japan machinery orders in May
the chain fell 14.8 percent after the market is expected to fall 2.6%.

 
Machinery orders grew 1.0 percent in May, economists had expected an increase of 7.0%.

Machinery orders data (also known as Machine Tool Order Data) is issued by the Japan Machine Tool Builders
Association (JMTBA) monthly figures. It is an important indicator of the Japanese economy.
