VW letter to Tenn. workers confirms talks with UAW

Volkswagen managers in a letter to employees confirmed that the car manufacturers in the negotiations with the United Auto Workers union on the establishment of a German-style "working committee" at its assembly plant in Tennessee.
Plant Frank Fischer, Chairman and CEO, and through facilities vice president of human resources Sebastian Pata, the letter was signed. Obtained by The Associated Press on Thursday.
Manager admitted in the letter that the issue of labor in the factory, was "lively discussion the question."
In the letter, the company stated that it engaged in negotiations with the UAW, since Parliament can only be built in the United States works through the establishment of trade unions.
