Spanish company that owns Zara chain of clothing stores, said the co-founder Rosalia Mera has died. She is 69 and Spain's richest woman.
Inditex SA's did not give up in its Friday statement, the details of how she died. But Spanish media widely reported Meira suffered a stroke while in the Mediterranean holiday island of Menorca and died Thursday night, she was transported to a hospital in northwestern Spain.
Meira was a seamstress who helped build Inditex Group's clothing store, she started with her ??then husband, Armancio Ortega. As the third richest man on the planet, he was included in the "Forbes." Meira Inditex Group held 5.1%, from the "Forbes" estimated her wealth at $ 61 billion U.S. dollars. The magazine said that she is the world's 195th richest person.
