Royal KPN NV provider America Movil said to have ended a cooperation agreement, the move clears the way Mexican companies to improve their largest telecommunications company in the Netherlands stake.
America Movil business with less than 30% of KPN shares, the two companies on February 20 signed a cooperation agreement. It includes a "pause" dealer America Movil agree not to raise its stake.
KPN said on Monday that Mexico's Carlos Slim-owned company is now free to increase its stake in KPN to 30% or more.
