A suicide bomber attacked a convoy of Iraqi troops in the northern city of Mosul early Monday, killing at least 22 soldiers and three passers-by, police said.
Bomber drove a car packed with explosives in Mosul, 390 km east of Kokchali area (240 miles) north of Baghdad in a military convoy, blowing himself and his car.
