Former chief of Fukushima nuclear plant has died

Tokyo Electric Power Company said that the former chief of Japan's crippled nuclear plant, Masao Yoshida, died of esophageal cancer. He was 58.
Tokyo Electric Power Company officials said Yoshida's condition is not related to radioactive exposure.
Yoshida led stabilization after Fukushima Daiichi, which is March 11, 2011, earthquake and tsunami crackdown.
Tokyo Electric Power Company spokesman said Yoshida Yoshimi Hitosugi Tuesday morning died at a hospital in Tokyo.
Yoshida stepped down as head of the plant in December 2011, citing cancer, the workers have begun to put it under control.
