A survey found that low unemployment and solid wage growth promoting consumer confidence in Germany nearly six-year high.
GfK research institute said on Wednesday that its forward-looking consumer climate index in July from June's 6.5 up to 6.8 points. This is reading 7.3 in September 2007, the highest level since.
